TRAINING
HFB believes strongly in providing highly trained personnel on every job site. As a company we strive for a Goal Zero workplace, we pride ourselves in providing quality employees with a high level of expertise in their craft. We recently revamped our training presentation and facility to be able to give a more thorough presentation and hands on experience to all participants in our training class. Our training curriculum is focused on enhancing the skills, capabilities, and knowledge, of our employees performing particular field task. Our field employees are trained and have a firm understanding on permit reading, pre/during/ and post job responsibilities, the difference between Stopping Work due to unsafe condition, and Holding up work due to not being prepared for the task. We train our employees how to consistently be able to start and complete projects in a manner that leaves our clients satisfied. Our training curriculums, core values, and expectations are set to prepare all our field staff with a supervisors mind frame.
Our employees are required to submit to drug/alcohol testing, background testing, and employment verification. We confirm our employees TWIC card, basic plus, DISA, and site specifics are current and up to date before dispatching them to the field.
Training curriculum for entry level employees includes but not limited to:

- Proper PPE
- Safety Attendant Training (Entry Watch, Fire Watch, Bottle Watch)
- How to use/Inspect Fire Extinguishers and Classes of Fire Extinguishers
- NFPA 704 "Fire Diamond"
- Dangers of Confined Spaces
- Gas Monitor Reading & Operations
- Critical & Sensitive Equipment
- Proper 3 Points of Contact
- Emergency Procedures
- Chain Of Command
- Radio Etiquette
- Harassment/Sexual Harassment
Training curriculum for supervision includes but not limited to:

As a company we offer training in the following areas:
- 40 hour Hazwopper
- 24 hour Hazwopper
- 8 hour Hazwopper refresher
- CPR/AED/First Aid
- Hands on Fire extinguisher training
- Safety Attendant Training
- Supervisory Training
- OSHA 30 Hour and OSHA 10 Hour
Minimum 10 people required per class.
